Organic garlic microgreens are not only deliciously aromatic, but they also don't leave behind unpleasant garlic breath. However, they are more difficult to grow than other organic microgreens grown in gardens.
Situation :
The cultivation of organic garlic microgreens differs from other ingarden organic microgreens.
Compared to other Ingarden organic microgreens, organic garlic microgreens take a full 14 days to harvest! However, the wait is worthwhile, as organic garlic microgreens (just like mature garlic) add a distinctive flavor to any meal and are packed with health benefits:
- immune system
- eyesight
- Healthy skin and hair
The best part: Unlike mature garlic, organic microgreens don't leave behind garlic breath. However, growing organic garlic microgreens requires more monitoring and potentially additional intervention compared to our other organic microgreens.

How to successfully grow organic garlic microgreens
Since our team has become official garlic experts in recent weeks, we've developed a method for growing perfect garlic in just 14 days. It only requires a little extra effort! Here are our recommendations:
-
Remove the top layer of the pad once the microgreens have sprouted (after approximately 7 days). Garlic microgreens grow slowly and push the seeds upwards, which pulls the top layer of our pads along with them, preventing it from detaching completely as it normally would. Important: Do not remove the top layer until the microgreens have sprouted, as it ensures the seeds remain moist, which is essential for growth.
-
Check the germination repeatedly (the first time after 2-5 days) and pour a little more water over the pads if a dry spot appears.
-
After about 14 days, your organic microgreens will be fully grown and ready for harvest!
