Ingarden is very easy to clean as it is dishwasher safe. After harvesting, the device can be easily disassembled in three steps:
1. Remove the used seed pads from the trays and dispose of them in your trash can.
2. Remove the bowls, the wick holders (without the wicks*) and the bowl holder.
3. Place everything, except for the frame and wicks, in the dishwasher.
You can then easily reassemble your Ingarden by simply putting the parts back into place in the frame.
* Wicks : The wicks themselves are best rinsed by hand under running water. Avoid detergents or other cleaning agents, as these can damage the material. Replace the wicks every 3-5 harvest cycles.
