The frozen bananas and cherries make the smoothie extra creamy and provide a refreshing cool-down. Our microgreens, on the other hand, give the smoothie additional nutrients, making our chocolate cherry smoothie not only incredibly delicious but also healthy.
Recipe Smoothie
1 serving, 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup of plant-based milk of your choice (we used macadamia milk)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen cherries, pitted
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp 100% cocoa powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- a very small pinch of salt
- ½ seed pad of kale or red cabbage microgreens
preparation
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until a creamy smoothie is formed.
