General Terms and Conditions
1. General
(1) The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop. Our online shop is aimed exclusively at consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
(2) ingarden reserves the right to exclude users from using the website in certain cases, in particular in the event of
- access to the platform by a manual or automated process for a purpose that goes beyond personal use or the inclusion of ingarden in a search index,
- access to the platform by automated systems or with software for extracting data (so-called “screen scraping”), whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes,
- circumvention of existing restrictions in robot exclusion headers or other measures intended to prevent or restrict access to the platform,

(1) The purchase contract is concluded with ingarden GmbH, Mühlenstraße 8a, 14167 Berlin, Germany.
(2) By listing products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items. You can first place our products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order, using the correction tools provided and explained in the ordering process. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the goods in the shopping cart by clicking the order button. Immediately after submitting the order, you will receive a confirmation by email.
(3) Languages available for concluding the contract: German and English.
(4) We store the contract text and send you the order data and our General Terms and Conditions in text form. You can view the contract text in your customer account.
(5) Payments made via the payment methods offered (such as credit card, invoice, bank transfer) as part of an order are processed by a PCI-compliant payment service provider. The payment service provider collects the payments for ingarden in its own account and pays the corresponding amount directly to ingarden. Payments made in this way are processed for and on behalf of ingarden and settle the amount due for the order.
3. Delivery terms and prices
(1) Shipping costs may apply in addition to the stated product prices. Details of any shipping costs can be found in the offers and during the ordering process. We only deliver by shipment. Unfortunately, collection of goods is not possible.

(3) The prices stated on the product pages include statutory VAT.
(4) Prices are displayed and payments are processed in the currency shown in the shop for your delivery country (e.g. euros, Swedish kronor or Danish kroner).

5. Retention of title

6. Transport damage
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such defects to the delivery driver as soon as possible and contact us without delay. Failure to report or contact us has no consequences for your statutory claims and their enforcement, in particular your warranty rights. However, it helps us to assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurer.
7. Statutory warranty, guarantees and returns
(1) The statutory rights in respect of defects apply.
(2) In addition, we grant a lifetime guarantee on all ingarden devices as well as a germination and harvest guarantee for our seed pads. We also offer a voluntary money-back guarantee on the first order of an ingarden device (45 days; 100 days for orders with a 90-day supply). The exact terms of these guarantees and of our voluntary return arrangements can be found in our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights, in particular your statutory right of withdrawal (see the withdrawal policy below) and your statutory warranty rights, are not restricted by these guarantees.
(3) If you have any questions about guarantees, returns or damaged deliveries, please contact info.de@ingarden.com.
(4) For consumers, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the goods only passes to you upon handover of the goods to you.
8. User accounts
(1) Some of the services or functions offered on the platform require a user account.
(2) A user account can be set up with your personal email address (also via Google), with the personal profile of a social network (e.g. Facebook) or via PayPal. A user account is also created when a user signs up for the newsletter.
(3) When registering via a social network, Google or PayPal, the user account is created with the data transmitted from there. Further information can be found in the privacy policy.
(4) Users are responsible for ensuring that the personal information they provide is correct and complete. Users are responsible to both ingarden and third parties for the use of their user account. Users are therefore obliged to keep their access data confidential and must not make it available to third parties. Users must inform ingarden if they know or suspect that their user account is being used without authorisation.
(5) The user account can be accessed from any device. For this purpose, users receive a personal login link by email or can use the social network profile used for registration.
(6) ingarden reserves the right to temporarily block or delete user accounts or to take other necessary measures if a user violates applicable law, these General Terms and Conditions or other applicable contractual terms.
(7) The deletion of a user account can be requested by email to info.de@ingarden.com.
9. Data protection
(1) The protection of the personal data provided by users is a top priority for ingarden.
(2) ingarden only collects, processes and uses personal data if the user consents or if a legal provision permits it. Details can be found in the privacy policy.
10. Liability
We are always liable without limitation for claims based on damage caused by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents
- in the event of injury to life, body or health,
- in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty,
- in the case of guarantee promises, if agreed, or
- insofar as the scope of application of the German Product Liability Act is opened.
In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential for the proper performance of the contract and on the observance of which the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations), through slight negligence on our part or on the part of our legal representatives or vicarious agents, liability is limited in amount to the damage foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded, the occurrence of which must typically be expected.
Otherwise, claims for damages are excluded.
11. Mobile terms of use
ingarden GmbH – last updated: 17 July 2026
The mobile messaging service of ingarden GmbH (the “Service”) is operated by ingarden GmbH (“ingarden GmbH”, “we” or “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms of use (“Mobile Terms”). We reserve the right to change or discontinue the Service or individual functions at any time without prior notice. To the extent permitted by law, we may amend these Mobile Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after such changes take effect constitutes your agreement to them.
By consenting to the SMS/text messaging service of ingarden GmbH, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of ingarden GmbH via your mobile carrier to the mobile number you provided. Messages may be sent using automated systems or other technologies. Promotional messages may include offers, promotions and other marketing content (e.g. abandoned cart reminders).
You do not need to sign up for this Service to make purchases. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase from ingarden GmbH. Participation in this programme is entirely voluntary.
The Service is free of charge for you. However, you are responsible for any charges your mobile carrier makes for text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Please check your mobile plan and contact your carrier for more information.
You can unsubscribe from the Service at any time. Simply text the keyword STOP to ingarden or click the unsubscribe link (if available) in a text message. You will receive a one-time confirmation message. After that, no further messages will be sent to your device unless you sign up again. If you have subscribed to other mobile messaging programmes of ingarden GmbH and wish to cancel them, you must unsubscribe from each separately, unless otherwise required by law.
For support or help, text HELP to ingarden or email us at info.de@ingarden.com.
We reserve the right to change the short codes or phone numbers used at any time and will inform you of such changes. Messages – including STOP or HELP requests – sent to a changed number may not be received.
Mobile carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you change your number, you must sign up for the Service again with your new number.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for failed, delayed or misdirected information sent via the Service, for errors in such information, or for any action you take or fail to take based on such information.
We respect your right to privacy. Information on how we collect and use your personal data can be found in our privacy policy.
12. Changes to these General Terms and Conditions
(1) ingarden reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions subject to reasonable advance notice.
(2) If the user does not object within six weeks of notification of the change, the amended General Terms and Conditions are deemed accepted by the user. The user will be informed of this when the change is announced.
13. Deliveries to Switzerland
For deliveries to Switzerland, the purchase contract is concluded between the buyer and MeinEinkauf AG, St. Gallen (CHE-331.561.017 VAT). MeinEinkauf AG also handles customs clearance, invoicing and delivery in Switzerland. This service is included in the purchase price and any shipping costs charged. To ensure smooth delivery to Switzerland, we would like to inform you, for reasons of transparency, that MeinEinkauf GmbH in Konstanz, Germany (DE285677365) is also involved in the supply chain. This does not incur any additional costs for the buyer.
14. Final provisions
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
(2) Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be wholly or partly invalid or conflict with statutory provisions, this shall not affect the validity of the rest of the contract.
15. Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Withdrawal Policy
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ingarden GmbH, Mühlenstraße 8a, 14167 Berlin, Germany, email: info.de@ingarden.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
