We are Tess & Christian – a small family from Berlin and the founders of ingarden.
Tess worked as a model for many years, Christian is an engineer with a passion for good design. Together we dreamed of an honest, healthier life – and discovered microgreens at a farmers' market in New York: tiny plants, 40 times more nutrient-rich than vegetables, vibrant and full of life.
What started as a weekend routine became a ritual. We first grew microgreens on kitchen paper, then on soil – until we realized: it was too time-consuming. What was missing was a system that truly worked – functional, beautiful, and practical for everyday use.
So Christian developed an indoor garden: well-designed, aesthetically pleasing, and simple. First for us. Then for everyone who wants to bring fresh nutrients into their lives.
