Creating healthier things – on our plates and in our habits.
We are Tess & Christian – a small family from Berlin
After a restless life as a model, I longed for reconnection : to natural sources , to genuine flavor – and to myself . Together with Christian, we discovered microgreens. Vibrant. Powerful. Authentic.
A shared passion gave rise to the idea of a microgreen garden for the home – thoughtfully designed , aesthetically pleasing , and practical for everyday life . Today, we invite everyone to bring health and mindfulness into their daily routine.

Microgreens are smaller, more nutrient-rich versions of the mature herbs and vegetables we know from the supermarket. They are harvested immediately after the seeds germinate, when they have the highest concentration of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants , and other health-promoting nutrients. ingarden uses hydroponic technology to grow microgreens 25 to 50% faster, using less water and requiring less maintenance than conventional gardening.
Microgreens have been cultivated in California since the mid-1990s and are the latest craze among so-called superfoods in the USA. These small plants, typically 25-38 millimeters tall, contain significantly higher amounts of vitamins and other nutrients – studies have shown that microgreens have 40 times the content of nutrients such as vitamins C, E, and K, lutein, and beta-carotene compared to the mature leaves of the same plants.
As with mature plants, the nutrient content varies among different types of microgreens. Of course, mature vegetables can never be replaced, as they provide the body with essential fiber, but microgreens fill all other gaps in your diet.
🏡 And if you grow them at home, you can be sure they are fresh and sustainable!
Our seeds come from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy and the Netherlands. Ingarden seeds are sourced exclusively from trusted and certified organic growers. This means that our seeds are certified organic by accredited authorities who verify that no artificial fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides are used. Each seed batch is tested by laboratories for microbiological safety according to HACCP standards, a guaranteed germination rate of 90%, as well as for appearance and integrity. The seeds are processed only by certified organic producers who avoid cross-contamination and adhere to the highest hygiene standards.
Ingarden's superfoods are organically grown and free from pesticides, herbicides, and genetic engineering. All our microgreens come exclusively from certified organic sources and have a guaranteed germination rate of 90%.
The patented ingarden pads allow organic microgreens to grow in just seven days.
They consist of biodegradable spruce wood down fibers that hold the organic microgreen seeds in place and ensure a consistent water supply. In combination with ingarden wicks, this mimics the natural transpiration process of plants.
You only need to add water once and you can harvest fresh organic microgreens a week later.
The pads are 100% compostable.
Once your growth cycle is complete and you've harvested all your microgreens, you can immediately start growing new ones. Simply compost your used pads, place new pads on your growing beds, and water them thoroughly until they are saturated.
