What is your favorite cocktail?
No matter the season, you can easily spice up your week by whipping up some delicious cocktails at home. It's a great way to wind down the week and kick off the weekend. Bring the cocktail bar vibe home with tasty, easy-to-make drinks. Soon you'll be asking yourself: Why don't we make cocktails more often? Because we love cocktails and microgreens, we've created a guide featuring three of our all-time favorite drinks, flavored with herbs from our own Ingarden.
- Picante de la Casa, as it's often called, makes you want more after just one sip with its sharp, distinctive flavor. As the name suggests, this tequila-based cocktail has a fiery aftertaste, thanks to the red chili garnish.
Muddle a slice of chili and three sprigs of cilantro in a cocktail shaker. Add two shots of your favorite tequila along with a splash of freshly squeezed lime juice. And half a splash of agave syrup. Shake well with ice, then strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass. Sprinkle with microgreens. Cheers!
- Gin and Basil Smash: A gin and basil smash is truly irresistible due to its taste and appearance, and it's easy and delicious to prepare at home. It has a distinctive color and flavor and is a great addition to any special summer occasion.
Muddle three basil sprigs in the bottom of your cocktail shaker. Add two shots of your favorite dry gin and a dash of lemon juice. Also add half a shot of sugar cane syrup. Shake well with ice and strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass. Sprinkle with microgreens. Enjoy the rich basil aroma along with the tangy lemon and crisp gin. Cheers!
- Strawberry Daiquiri: A surprisingly simple and delicious cocktail that can be made at home is the Strawberry Daiquiri. Strawberry Daiquiris are very popular on vacation and bring the atmosphere of a beach bar right to your home.
Muddle seven fresh strawberries in the bottom of your cocktail shaker. Add two shots of your favorite brand of rum and half a shot of lime juice. Add a quarter shot of sugar cane syrup. Shake with ice, strain into a chilled coupe glass, and garnish with mint. Arriba!
